1. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern use of the İlk Adım: İslam Android app. By using the app, you accept these terms to the extent you can understand them for your age. Children should use the app with parent or legal-guardian supervision. These terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
2. Nature of the educational service
The app provides age-appropriate religious education lessons, quizzes, reviews, and progress tools. Its content is general education and is not personalized religious advice, a fatwa, medical advice, legal advice, or another professional service. Seek a qualified professional or appropriate official institution for an individual religious matter.
Core use requires no account. Lesson content is packaged with the app and progress is stored on the device. Some source links and advertising/privacy functions require an internet connection.
3. Acceptable use
Users must use the app lawfully and must not attempt to defeat security controls, distribute harmful code through the app, or infringe third-party rights. Lawful security research, statutory reverse-engineering exceptions, and mandatory rights remain unaffected.
4. Advertising and third-party services
The app includes Google Mobile Ads and UMP. Advertising is not required to access learning content. Child profiles receive no automatic lesson-completion interstitial; an ad on the Support screen is voluntary. External links and Google services have their own terms. The publisher does not control a third-party site's content or availability, but uses reasonable care when choosing links presented by the app.
5. Intellectual property and source material
Rights in the app software, original interface, brand elements, and original publisher-created material belong to their respective owners. Diyanet publications, institution names, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain with their respective rights holders. A citation does not claim ownership or create a partnership with the cited institution.
Open-source components are used under their own licenses. These terms do not reduce rights granted by an applicable open-source license.
6. Availability and changes
The publisher may update the app for security, content accuracy, accessibility, and store requirements. Maintenance, device incompatibility, network conditions, or third-party failures can cause interruptions. The app is not promised to be uninterrupted or error-free on every device. Material changes will be communicated consistently with user rights.
7. Fair limitations of liability
The publisher aims to use reasonable care in providing an accurate and safe educational experience. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Responsibility for clearly improper use, third-party outages, or events outside reasonable publisher control is assessed under applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, including applicable cases of intent, gross fault, or personal injury.
8. Stopping use and local data
Users can stop using or uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling or clearing Android app storage deletes local learning records. There is no server learning account to close because learning records are not held in a developer backend.
9. Applicable law and contact
These terms are interpreted under applicable law of the Republic of Türkiye, while preserving mandatory consumer and data-protection rights. Users retain all statutory rights to competent consumer bodies, courts, and other remedies.
